The smallest island Tun Sakaran Marine Park and yet very famous among scuba divers for the dive sites namely Black Coral Garden, Stingray Alley and Star Point. Eagle rays and devil rays can often be found here too!
Black Coral Garden: Interesting that the coral is actually not black in colour, in fact they are white, yellowish or purple in colour and they reflect some sort of magical light when you view them from the water surface due to a type of coating on the corals. You can find them in depth of 22 – 35 meters only at Mantabuan Island, when they are naturally found at deeper depth at other places!
Stingray Alley: The home of abundant sea creatures like blue-spotted stingrays, ribbon rays, ribbon eel, pipefish and colour nudibranchs. Full of colourful soft and hard corals, makes it a great backdrop for underwater photography
Star Point: A shallow dive site with depth of 14 – 15 meters but the current is stronger at this site. You can almost see turtle at different spots here. In short, Mantabuan Island is suitable for all range of divers!
