Getting to Dhigurah Island

Velana International Airport (MLE), the main international airport for most of the international flight to Maldives, also the capital, Malé. This is the main access to Dhigurah Island.

Boat ride from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Dhigurah Island

2 hours of speed boat ride via Speed Boat Terminal. 5 hours of local ferry ride via Hulhule Ferry Terminal.

Flight to Dhigurah Island

Taking flight from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Dhigurah Island via Maamigili Island (Villa Airport Maamigili) with local airline Flyme is the only option (30 minutes flight time). Upon arrival you will get transfer to Heliport Jetty and charter a speedboat to Dhigurah Island, or transfer to Maamigili Local Jetty to take local ferry (MTCC) to Dhigurah Island.

20 minutes of speedboat ride. 1 hour of local ferry ride.

Overall, direct speedboat ride from Velana International Airport (MLE) with 2 hours journey still the best option.

Arrival at Dhigurah Island

Speedboat ride can be arranged, you will greet and pick up from Dhigurah MTCC Ferry Terminal upon arrival.

Season
